‘The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” – Jeremiah 31:3 (NIV)
The Lord’s promise to us is one of everlasting love. He has always loved us. Even when we can’t seem to love ourselves, God’s love never ends.
You may be battling with your own unhealthy habits, or you may be depressed by the weight of your own mistakes, causing love for yourself to be a faint, distant spark.
You may be feeling unloved by family and friends. You’re somehow never fitting into the norms of society. You feel worthless, and everything feels meaningless. Finding a way out seems to be your best option.
Just pause for a moment… Take a breath, dearly beloved…Take a breath, young man…
Someone loves you more than you could ever imagine! Just as a perfect circle has no beginning and no end, so is God’s love for you. The Lord Himself said, “I have loved you with an everlasting love.”
Cheer up! The King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Almighty God, the One who is Supreme, the Everlasting Father loves you, and He cares about you. You are the apple of His eye. He has promised: “Though the mountains move and the hills shake, My love will not be removed from you and My covenant of peace will not be shaken…”. (Isaiah 54:10 – HCSB).
You are valuable, safe, and secure in the arms of our loving Heavenly Father. Your future is bright, too! Your whole life is at the brink of a turning point. Even at this very moment, He is drawing you to Himself. Would you like to have an encounter with the love of Almighty God? Reach out and receive His love today, and watch Him do wonderful things with you and through you. Shalom.
